Robert D. Spohn, age 91, of Fleetwood, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 in Kutztown Manor, Kutztown. He was the husband of the late Mabel S. (Hollenbach) Spohn who passed on April 8, 2000.
He was born in Fleetwood, the son of the late David G. and Emma G. (Moyer) Spohn.
Robert was a gradaute of Fleetwood High School class of 1938 and was a U S Army veteran of World War II.
He had worked for Quaker Maid Kitchens for 34 years, retiring in 1984.
Robert is survived by his daughter Kathleen L. (Spohn) Kachel, Fleetwood son Stephen R. Spohn, Fleetwood. One grandson and two great grandchildren. Also a niece Shirley R. Keller, Fleetwood.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, a brother one niece and two nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24 at 11:00 AM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will begin Thursday at 10:00 AM and conclude at the beginning of the service. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Fleetwood Cemetery. P.O.
