Rosalie C. Hermany, age 82, of Kutztown, passed away on Sunday December 20, 2020 at the Penn State Health St. Joseph's. She was the wife of the late Lewis D. Hermany who passed on July 12, 2011. Rosalie was born in Topton, a daughter of the late Newton Harpel and Margaret (Isamoyer) Hermany.

Rosalie was a graduate of Kutztown High School class of 1956. She had worked for Dutch Maid Bakery in Temple retiring after 16 years.

She always looked forward to spending time with family, especially around the holidays. She enjoyed when her neighbors visited on her porch in the summertime. Other activities she enjoyed was going to the casinos and playing bingo with her friends..

She is survived by three children; Gail E. (Hermany) wife of Dyke Sassaman, Blandon; Kathy (Hermany) wife of Bill R. Bates, Stewartstown, PA; and Michael D. Hermany husband of Michelle (Rothermel) Mulhenberg. Also grandchildren Dyke Sassman, Jr. wife of Abbey Sassaman; Kelli Jo wife of Brad Rosenberger: Ryan Hermany; Jenna Hermany; Michael Hermany - Rothermel; Marissa Hermany – Rothermel; Madison Botch; and Mckaylee Hermany – Rothermel. Five great grandchilderen Karryn Rosenberger; Kayci Jo Rosenberger; Jeremy Sassaman; Andrew Sassaman and Owen Hermany.

She was predeceased by her sisters Lorine (Harpel) Bak; Doris (Harpel) Kroninger and Joanne (Harpel) Steckel.

Due to restrictions of the virus Rosalie's services will be private with burial in Laureldale Cemetery.
