Rosemary G. Adams, 88, of Fleetwood, passed away in her residence on Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
Rosemary was intelligent, joyfully independent, kind, caring, and made others feel comfortable and appreciated when they were around her. She enjoyed music and the arts, liked to laugh, and above all, trusted God in his providence. She was at peace in death, and felt blessed to have experienced an amazing life.
Born March 24, 1925, in Fleetwood, she was the daughter of the late George P. Adams and Margaret B. Kline Adams.
Rosemary was a graduate of Fleetwood High School, class of 1942, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She worked in public relations for the Pennsylvania and New York Telephone Company, now Verizon, for many years.
She is survived by a brother, Frank L. Adams, of Redmond, Washington. Also surviving: Laura Smiley, niece, and nephews Joe Millar V, Scott Adams, Mike Adams and Jack Millar.
A private graveside service and celebration of her life will be held at a later date
