Roy L. Folk 77, of Fleetwood, passed on Wednesday February 2, 2022. He was the husband of Linda M. (Noll) Folk they celebrated 57years of marriage. Roy was born in Reading, the son of the late Clarence S. Folk Sr. and Helen L. (Meals) Folk.
Roy was a U. S. Army veteran who served in the 101 st Airborne Division, where he made over 25 jumps. After the service he had worked at Allentown Portland Cement Company in Evansville. He was known as a motor head and would race his copper colored 1967 fast back Barracuda at Maple Grove Raceway and racing hobby cars Dorney Park. He loved watching NASCAR Racing on Sundays. Fishing was his passion and would go every chance he could, enjoying both fresh water and salt water.
He is survived by his wife Linda and children Rodney W. Folk and Donna J. (Folk) Raatzs.
Other survivors include a sister Jean A. (Folk) wife of Donald DeCray and many nieces and nephews.
Roy is predeceased by his siblings Robert Folk, Clarence Folk, Jr., William Folk, Evelyn Folk and Jane Folk.
