Ruth R. "Rudy" Brobst, age 81, of Kutztown, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of William F. Brobst, Sr.
Born in Reading the daughter of the late Lawrence Quillman and Alice Barlet Oxenreider Kulikowski.
Ruth, had been employed by Kutztown University for many years retiring in 1993. She was a person who loved life and was an avid bingo player.
Ruth is survived by her husband William and three children: William F. Brobst, Jr. husband of Roxanne M.( Isamoyer) Brobst of Kutztown, Neil K. Brobst of Kutztown and Teena M. (Brobst) Hansen of Hampton, VA. Also five grandchildren John Hansen, Michael Hansen, Stephanie Hansen, Jodi Brobst and Keshia Brobst. She is also survived by a half brother Stanley Kulikowski of Lititz and honorary son C. E. Travis, Hamburg.
Ruth was preceded in death by two sons Michael A. Brobst in 1957 and Horace V. Brobst III in 2006.
Services will be private. The Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood is in charge of arrangements.
