Samuel Arlington Barth, 66 of Fleetwood, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday September 30, 2014, after a long battle with brain cancer an Parkinson disease. He was the husband of Kathleen M. (Hoffman) Barth.
Born on January 5, 1948 in Reading, the son of Irene L. (Debkowski) Barth of Fleetwood and the late Samuel A. Barth Sr. who passed in 2012.
A graduate of Reading high School Class of 1965. He was a Vietnam veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne Division. After the service he worked at Carpenter Steel for 25 years in the maintenance department.
In addition to being a loving husband, father and grandfather. Sam loved to be in his woodshop and the outdoors.
Surviving is his wife Kathleen M. Barth and daughters Amy M. (Barth) Capozzi wife of Steven M. Capozzi of Fleetwood and Diane (Barth) Arentz of Reading. Also four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be privately held. The family would like to acknowledge the care that was given at Kindred of Wyomissing and Heartland Hospice
