Sarah M. Cronrath, age 83 of Maidnecreek Place, Reading, formerly of Topton, peacefully passed away on Sunday  morning April 22, 2018 in her residence.

Born on October 14, 1934, in Richmond Township the daughter of the late Lewis H. and Pearl E. (Judd) Cronrath

Sarah retired from Graphite Machining, Inc., Topton prior she had worked for over forty years for the former General Seating in Topton. She was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, Dryville.

Sarah started roller skating in her early years at Dreamland Park, Ruscombmanor Township and advanced to speed skating at which she won medals for many competitions throughout the area. She was also an avid table pool player competing around Berks County winning several trophies.

Sarah  is survived by her sister June A. wife of William H.  Rapley of Lower Heidelberg, nephew Craig R. Love, Apex, NC and his children Brian Love and Natalie Love, nephew Steven A. Love, sinking Spring and his children Emily Love and Amy Love, nephew Carl Cronrath of Tamarak, Florida, nieces Lola Lambert, wife of Dale Lambert of Louisa Kentucky, Diane Cronrath, Birdsboro, Wendy Christman wife of Marion of Long, South Carolina, and great nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Carl D. Cronrath, Sr., Josephine M. (Cronrath) Gift and Lewis H. Cronrath, Jr.

A visitation will be held Saturday morning 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. from Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood. Inurnment will follow in Hope Cemetery.
