Sarah M. Storms, age 87, of Fleetwood, passed away on Friday September 11, 2015 in Manor Care, Laureldale. She was the widow of Charles H. Storms, Jr. who passed on January 28, 2011. Sarah was born on May 24, 1928 in Dwaarkill, New York the daughter of the late Hezekiah M. Alsdorf and Gertrude F. (Caston) Alsdorf..
Survived by her three sons: Charles Raymond husband of Debra J. Storms, Arkville, N.Y.; Paul Michael, husband of Lisa T. Storms, Fleetwood; and Mark Kevin, husband of Marie A. Storms, Fleetwood. One daughter Carol wife of Larry Hertle of Joshua, Texas. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Meredith, Wade, Brittany, Tyler, Kasey and Micah. Other survivors include seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Michael and brothers Herbert Alsdorf, Joseph Alsdorf, Hezekiah Alsdorf, Harvey Alsdorf and James Alsdorf.
A viewing will be Wednesday morning from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
