Shelly Marie Haas, 38, passed away on June 12, 2014, in her home surrounded by her beloved family in Fleetwood, PA. She was born on November 27, 1975, in Reading, PA to Kenneth L. Reimert and Monika Hamscher.
Shelly grew up in Fleetwood, PA where she graduated from Fleetwood Area High School in 1993. After high school she earned an Associate's Degree in Paralegal studies from Berks Technical Institute.
Shelly began work for Chili's Bar and Grill in 2001 moving her way up the ranks until achieving the General Manager position. She was beloved by her staff for her helpfulness and leadership abilities. Shelly's energy spread through all the other workers creating one of the best environments to work in. She retired in the January of 2014.
Shelly married James Haas in 2002. They were happily married for 12 years.
Shelly loved being a wife and mother. She and her husband Jim were best of friends, and enjoyed each other's company immensely. Shelly was a loving, caring person who had a servant's heart, adored her animals, made beautiful things for others, and enjoyed spending time talking with those she loved. She was an avid reader, invigorated by travel, and had an incredible work ethic. She will be missed by so many.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Rissmiller.
Shelly is survived by her spouse, Jim, her children Jordan Telenko and Kiana Telenko, stepson Tyler Haas, father, Kenneth Reimert, mother, Monika Hamscher, stepfather, Terry Hamscher, grandmother, Anneliese Rissmiller, grandfather, Richard Reimert, mother-in-law, Theresa Haas, siblings: Jimmy and wife, Danielle Reimert, Mason and Marlowe Reimert, Natalie and Chris Hamscher, nephews: Samuel and Chase Reimert, and extended family.
A private family celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
