Shirley A. Fisher, age 76, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away September 27, 2011 in Manor Care Health Services, Laurelale surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Gene M. Fisher who passed on February 12, 2009. They where married on January 3, 1953 and would have celebrated a 58 year anniversary.
Born March 28, 1935, in Maxatawny Township, daughter of the late Jacob G. Wanner and Irene C. (Phillips) Wanner.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Fleetwood.
Shirley was a motor route carrier for Reading Eagle Co., Reading for 28 years from 1972 to 2000. Other worked included the former Fleetwood Shirt Corporation for 9 years from 1962 to 1971, Campus Motor Inn for 10 years and Tarsus, Inc. Fleetwood.
She will be greatly missed by her dog Snoopy.

There are nine grandchildren Michael D. Fink, Joel K. Fink, Jennifer L. Moyer, Amanda L. Gring, Haley A. Fisher, Nathan C. George, Brianne M. Tempesco, Cody J, Fisher and Austin M. Fisher; and two step grandchildren Jessica Blank and Corey Dennis. Also seven great grandchildren.
Other survivors include a brother Richard J. Wanner, Reading and sister Irene C. (Wanner) Mayer, Fleetwood.
Shirley was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric G. Fisher, Jr., on April 18, 2003 and a brother Lee A. Wanner.
Funeral services will Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, with Rev. Patrick W. Morris officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Sunday evening 7:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. and Monday 10:00a.m. to time of service.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. The children request that no flowers be sent to there homes, instead please make contributions to the church.
