Shirley Rose Lance, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 15, 2023 in her home surrounded by family and loving partner of 40 years Dennis Keim.

She was the daughter of the late Julia (Klinko) and Victor Grbich, and was pre-deceased by her brothers & sisters Victor Grbich Jr, Helen Billman, Margaret Grbich & Stephen Grbich.

Born in Oxford, Warren County, NJ, she lost her father at age 6 to an explosion at Allentown Portland Cement, Sadty Eddy Division, and was raised by her mother.

Shirley married into the Lance family and lived in Washington, NJ.

In 1966 she and her family moved to Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. She worked at Fleetwood Shirt Corporation for over 30 years and was promoted to a supervisor.

Her proudest accomplishment in life was raising 6 successful children. Shirley enjoyed family picnics, fire company events, Disney vacations and spending time with her many grandchildren. In recent years she enjoyed Big Diamond Speedway where her granddaughter races. She was beloved by everyone she met. She had a good sense of humor and laughed until she cried.

Shirley was a member of St Paul's United Church of Christ Fleetwood

Shirley is survived by two sons, Harry Lance married to Kathy and Thomas Lance married to Kimberly. Four daughters, Gail (Lance) Greth, Debra (Lance) Lord, Julie (Lance) Shahan wife of Sam, Diane (Lance) Smith wife of Christopher and two step sons, Dennis Keim Jr. married to Kimberly and David Keim.

She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great  grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life and to honor Shirley will be at Mae A .Stump Funeral Home, 117 W. Main Street, Fleetwood, PA on Friday March 24, greetings at 11 AM followed by a noon service, internment to follow in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
