Shirley M. (Lewis) Sargent, aged 91, of Fleetwood, formerly of Corona, California, peacefully passed away on October 24, 2023, surrounded by her family at her residence in Fleetwood. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene H. Sargent and the daughter of the late Harold Lewis and Myrtle (Cadwell) Lewis.

Shirley was a remarkable and supportive wife and mother, dedicated to her family. For many years she was the secretary for the First Baptist Church in Pomona, California.

Surviving Shirley are her children Cindy (Sargent) Prestosh, Kevin Sargent, Dale Sargent Karen (Sargent) Matika and Robert Sargent. Also seven grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November1, 2023, at 11:00 am from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. followed by burial at 1:00 pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery
