Troy A. Hottenstein, 52, of Fleetwood passed away of natural causes on Thursday May 13, 2021. He was the husband of Tonya S. (Sanders) Hottenstein, they celebrated 29 years of marriage on January 18th. Born in West Reading the son of Nancy E. Erb wife of Henry E. Erb, Jr. and the late Melvin D. Hottenstein.

Troy was a 1986 graduate of Fleetwood High School. After high school he joined the U. S. Marines and served from 1987 to 1993. Returning to Pennsylvania he was employed by East Penn Manufacturing for the next 27. During this time he received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Reading Community College.

Troy looked forward to becoming a grandfather in August. He enjoyed spending time with his family, He loved playing tennis, doing yard work and playing cards.

Troy is survived by wife Tonya and daughter's Alyssa M. wife of Travis Warmkessel, Brittany N. Hottenstein and Courtney J. Hottenstein all of Fleetwood. He also has a sister Tracy L. Gangaway of Reading and brother Michael Hottenstein of Topton. Other survivors are step sisters Connie Derr of Lehighton, Donna Dartouzos of Kutztown and step brother Brian Geist of Beauford, Georgia.

He is predeceased by his siblings Todd L. Geisinger and Jeffery Hottenstein.

A viewing will be Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM and Tuesday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will follow at Becker's St Peter's Cemetery, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Troy's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8510
