1. Jean Strunk, age 80, of Maidnecreek Place, Reading, formerly of Birdsboro, peacefully passed away on Thursday morning April 26, 2018 in her residence.

She was the wife of the late Peter Strunk, Jr. who passed in 2016.

Born on January16, 1938, in Duncannon, Perry County, daughter of the late Harry Roye. She graduated from Duncannon High School in 1956.

Jean's passion was her position as a representive for Avon products and spent many years serving her beloved customers, retiring in 2015.

Jean each spring she enjoyed planting flowers beds around her house. She was avid card player of pinochle and rummy. Her other interest was playing computer games.

Jean will be dearly missed by her son Dale Miller husband of Tracy Miller of Blandon, daughters Tina (Miller) wife of Carl Bealer of Fleetwood and Lisa (Miller) Hoimes wife of Gus Hoimes of Fleetwood. Jean has thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Also, a foster sister, Shirley Smith of Duncannon.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra (Miller) Kirlin.

A viewing will be held Thursday morning 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville on Friday May 4 ^th .
