Vera I. Schell

Vera Irene Schell, of Maidencreek Township passed away on August 2, 2024, at Laureldale Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. Vera was born in Bristol, PA the daughter of the late Meade Eugene Schell and Anna Eleanor (Walter) Schell.

Vera had been employed by American Bank in Reading which became Wells Fargo Bank. She was with the bank for 20 years as a customer service agent. Vera also was a business owner for 10 years and was a subcontractor, for Drexelbrook Industries.

She loved photography and had a large selection of photos. Another interest was crafting and loved going to craft shows and attending seasonal festivals. She was an avid reader and was known to read a book in a day. Her vacations were usually go to the Jesey shore.

Vera is survived by her six children Donald A. Singer, Vera I. Singer, Michele A. (Singer) Fink, Kathleen E. Singer, Margaret M. Singer. Grandchildren Michele Fink, Ann (Fink) Bricker, Laurann Fink, Mical Fink, Rayann (Fink) Delong, David Rosenkrans, Vera Gibson, Laura Ashley, Margaret Singer, Michael Hixson, Amy Smith. Great grandchildren Jace Bricker, Landen Bricker, Kade Delong, Naomi Okumura, Liam Okumura, Abigail Rosenkrans, Miles Rosenkrans, Troy Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Logan Gibson, and Bryson Smith.

Other survivors are sisters Eleanor (Shell) Gross, carol (Schell) Leeper. Vera was predeceased by her brother George Schell.
