Veronica S. (Ronnie) Jaeger, age 88 years, passed away surrounded by her family on October 6, 2012 at the Keystone Villa at Douglassville.
Born on May 22, 1924 in Dryville, Pa, Veronica was the daughter of the late Guy and Verna (Barto) Schaeffer. She was the wife of William B. Jaeger with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage.
Veronica graduated from Kutztown High School and the Henry Academy of Beauty Culture, Allentown. She and her husband, William, were the owners and operators of the Jaeger Beauty Salon in Fleetwood, Pa. for 63 years. The salon opened in 1947 and officially closed in December of 2010.
Veronica had two children, William S. Jaeger, husband of Doris (Seoane) Jaeger, Reading and Jan L. (Jaeger) Loose, also of Reading.
There are three grandchildren, Michael Jaeger, husband of Lindsey (Fisher); Kristina Jaeger and Ann Jaeger. There are also 3 great grandchildren, Leah Jaeger, Lauren Jaeger and Dylan Wright. A fourth great grandchild is expected in April.
Ronnie and Bill moved to the Keystone Villa at Douglassville in February 2010. There she made many friends and spent many happy carefree days enjoying life.
Veronica was a life member of the East Penn Chapter No. 366 of the Eastern Star, Kutztown. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood, Pa. where she taught Sunday school for 12 years.

Arrangements will be handled by Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. Fleetwood. Services will be private. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery..
