Obituary

Wallace W. Wagonseller, age 86, of Oley, passed away on Monday May 14, 2012 at Berkshire Center. The husband of Geraldine E. (Raifsnider) Wagonseller, married for 60 years this past June.
Born in Rockland Township the son of the late Richard A. and Neva (Blatt) Wagonseller. When he was very young his mother Neva passed and he was raised by his grandmother the late Lillian B. Blatt.
Wallace was a graduate of Reading High School class of 1944. He then entered the U S Army and he was a veteran of World War II serving in the signal corps during the Italian campaign.
He was the owner of Wagonseller Printing, Oley for 54 years from 1958 to 2011.
Wallace was Justice of the Peace for Oley from 1966 to 1970. In 1970 he became District Justice for PA district 3-3. He retained that position from 1970 to 1994 when he retired at age 70 years. From 1994 to 1996 he served as a Senior District Justice. He also was Chaplain for Special Court Judges Association of Pa District XII.
He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Reading. Other memberships are St. John's Lodge #435 F & A M of West Reading, Scottish Rite Valley of Reading, American Legion Post 878 of Oley, Pike Township Sportsman Association, past president and lifetime member of the Oley Fire Company, a co founder of the Oley Ambulance Association.
Surviving is his wife Geraldine, son Neil T. Wagonseller husband of Shelly A. (Brenner) Wagonseller of Mohrsville, daughter Mary Alice (Wagonseller) wife of Thomas Hoeschele of Mertztown. Three grandchildren Rhonda Ann (Wagonseller) wife of Douglas Laird of Linesville, PA, Adam N. Wagonseller, Reading and Kyle T. Wagonseller, Mohrsville. (Wallace was awaiting the arrival of the couple's first great grandchild in early July.) Also sister Lilyann (Wagonseller) widow of Cleon R. Hertzog of Denver, PA. Wallace was preceded in death by a brother Raymond R. Wagonseller.
Services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM from Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 AM to time of service. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Oley. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
