Walter G. McCulley, age 78, of Blandon, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2011, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
He was the husband of the late Nancy J. (Bower) McCulley, who passed on May 10, 2010.
He was born in Fleetwood, the son of the late Russell McCulley Sr. and Mary (Moll ) Lafaver McCulley.
Walter had worked at Mack Truck Inc. for 48 years prior to his retirement.
He was a U. S. Army veteran, who served during the Korean War.
Surviving are his son, Gary A. McCulley, Blandon, and his daughter, Barbara A. (McCulley), wife of Charles Schaedler, Bradenton, Florida.
Also surviving are four grandchildren: Daniel Schaedler, April Schaedler, Jamie Brown and Bonnie Brown, and three great-grandchildren: Christopher, Ariel and Danielle.
Other survivors are two brothers: Wesley McCulley and William McCulley, and a sister, Cora E. (Lafaver) Koch, all of Fleetwood.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy (McCulley) Rauenzahn, and sisters: Sandra (McCulley) Dietrich and Betty (McCulley) Kline.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
The Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc., Fleetwood, is in charge of arrangements.
