Wilbert M. "Willie" Folk, age 77, of Pottsville formerly of Walnuttown, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem on Sunday July 17, 2022. Born in Molltown, he was the son of the late John M. Folk and Lucy E. (Moore) Folk.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Willie had worked at East Penn Manufacturing, Lyons for over 20 years and retired from Garden State Tanning Co after 15 years..

Willie enjoyed going to Potter County for hunting and fishing. He loved dirt track racing at area race tracks. He was the biggest fan of his great grandchildren's baseball games and sporting events. His other interest was golfing.

He is survived by his three children, Georgia Ann wife of Mark Sullivan of Pottsville, Ginger L.wife of Daniel Moyer Sr. and Robert L. Folk husband of Vicki Folk, Blandon. Also six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Other survivors are his siblings Richard Folk, Joan wife of Lawrence Hoch and Donald  husband of Sandra Folk.

Service will be at graveside on Saturday at 1:00 P M in Leesport Cemetery, Kindt Coroner Road, Leesport. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Willie memory to Children's Miracle Network Hospital c/o Penn State Health Children's Hospital, Hershey, PA.
