Obituary

Leo I. Yenser, 86, of Richmond Twp., passed away in the morning hours, Tuesday, September 15, 2015, of natural causes in his residence.
Born June 4, 1929, in Fleetwood, he was a son of the late Irvin J. & Mary E.
(nee Grim) Yenser.
A 1948 graduate of Fleetwood High School, he had worked, for 45 years, for the Lehigh Cement Company of Berks County, retiring in 1994.
Leo was a Veteran Ace Pitcher, played Legion baseball, enjoyed hunting, golfing, antiquing, looked forward to breakfast with his buddies, and was a member of the Fleetwood Vol. Fire Co., the Fleetwood Ambulance Assn., the Fleetwood Fish and Game, the NRA, and the PA Sherriff's Assn.
He enjoyed and loved his family very much and leaves behind: his longtime companion, Elsie B. Stetzler Deibert; his children: David A. Yenser, Oley, Wendy J., wife of Gary Yoder, Fleetwood, and Joan P., wife of Allen Heater, Leesport; five grandchildren: Angela Delp, Shawn, husband of Krystal Yoder, Eric Yoder, Jesse Yenser, and Lori, wife of Michael Pence; five great-grandchildren: Jack, Kyland, Jameson, Natalie, and Ryan.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Minerva Quillman, Anna Kline, Arthur Yenser and Morris Yenser.
A Celebration of Leo's Life will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 11 AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood, PA 19522. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
